Bailey Zimmerman faces arrest over trashed hotel room

Bailey Zimmerman is wanted by police after allegedly causing more than $16,000 damage to a hotel room in New Mexico.
A warrant for the arrest of the 26-year-old country singer has been issued, with the Rock and a Hard Place hitmaker facing a fourth-degree felony charge for criminal damage to property over $1,000 and a misdemeanour for falsely obtaining services, People magazine reports.
Bailey had been due to perform at the Sandia Resort and Casino in Albuquerque on May 27, but cancelled the show hours before it was due to begin due to illness, and an affidavit for the arrest warrant tells how the hours before the planned concert were chaotic as the star "appeared to be exhibiting signs of intoxication" while dealing with staff members and during sound check.
The document alleged the Hell or High Water singer "stumbled onto the stage" of the venue at 4.3pm on the day of the show, grabbed a guitar and hit it on the ground before "tripping over the stage and falling backward." He allegedly also threw two cymbals, kicked a drum set, pushed a guitarist and threw his microphone to the ground before "angrily" leaving the stage.
Bailey is then said to have "spit toward a Sandia security officer standing nearby" as he headed for his waiting car but initially refused to get into the SUV because it was white and not black.
According to the affidavit, Bailey returned to the resort with blood visible on his left knee and was seen "stumbling down the hallway toward his room".
Police were called when he became "disorderly" after being given a deadline to leave the property, but he eventually co-operated and left the hotel.
The following morning, on 28 May, housekeeping staff found Bailey's room had been subjected to extensive damage, including a broken phone, TV, chairs and a coffee table, as well as a hole in the wall and two chairs missing entirely. The hotel also alleged $400 in alcohol had been charged to the room but the bill hadn't been paid.
After making repeated unsuccessful attempts to contact the Religiously singer, a warrant was issued for his arrest.
At the time, Bailey apologised to fans for letting them down but explained he needed to cancel the show, as well as another scheduled for 30 May, for health reasons.
He wrote on Instagram: "I have not been feeling well and have tried to power through, but I'm not able to give you all the show you deserve.
"I hate letting y'all down and was really looking forward to these shows, but I gotta take care of myself so I can get back out there stronger."
