Jennifer Lopez and Brett Goldstein "have great chemistry".
The 56-year-old actress stars alongside Brett, 45, in Office Romance, the new romcom directed by Ol Parker, and although they're not currently dating, a source claims there is definite "chemistry".
The insider told Us Weekly: "She and Brett have great chemistry, and that made working together on set easy and enjoyable.
"It was instant chemistry from their first call about the project. She thinks he's incredibly charming, talented and just a really good guy."
There is "nothing romantic going on between them besides flirtation" between Jennifer and Brett. But the actress' friends think her co-star is a real catch.
The source said: "Jen's friends joke with her that she should give him a chance because they think he'd be a great match for her."
Despite this, Jennifer isn't actively looking for love at the moment.
The insider explained: "JLo is in a really good place right now and has pretty much sworn off dating for the time being. She is usually in a relationship, so she's genuinely enjoying this time being single and focusing on herself."
Meanwhile, Brett recently hailed Jennifer as a "phenomenal artist".
The actor heaped praise on his co-star, describing Jennifer as "extraordinary".
Brett - who is best known for playing Roy Kent in Ted Lasso, the hit Apple TV series - told Extra: "I think she is a phenomenal artist.
"I think it is extraordinary to do as many different things as she has done at the level that she has done them with the success that she has done them and how it seems to transcend time and ... You know, you forget how many f****** bangers she has in her catalogue.
"I also genuinely -- as much as I think she is beloved -- I think she's underrated as an actor. I think she's a fantastic actor. And seeing her do her thing on this film, seeing it up close, is really like, 'You're f****** good at this.'"
Brett co-wrote the new movie with Jennifer in mind, and the actress felt flattered that he chose her for the role of Jackie Cruz.
She said: "Listen, anytime anybody writes something for me, it's super flattering, right? And it doesn't happen all the time. When I read it, it was funny. It was touching. It was romantic and it had a different edge to it than my other romantic comedies."
