Ariel Winter moves in with Modern Family costar after Luke Benward split

Ariel Winter is living with her Modern Family co-star Nolan Gould after her split from Luke Benward.
Last week, the 28-year-old actress confirmed she and her long-term boyfriend - who she was living with in Nashville since 2022 - had broken up, and now she has revealed her onscreen brother has become her real life roommate in Los Angeles.
She told PEOPLE magazine: "It's funny because I spend more time out here now and I rent a house with Nolan.
"People ask me about a Modern Family reboot, but Nolan and I are real roommates now.
"It's like we're having our own little Modern Family reboot, but it's just the two of us living together. So I see him every day."
Ariel, who played Alex Dunphy in Modern Family, insisted their real life antics are just as funny as the fictional reality TV show sitcom.
She quipped: "I'm not gonna lie, when we sit there at night and we watch, like, Temptation Island together, it's pretty hilarious.
"So we have thought about [sharing] it. We're just like, 'People would find this really funny.' "
Back in 2025, Ariel opened up on the close bond she and her castmates - including Noah, Julie Bowen, Sofia Vergara and Jesse Tyler Ferguson - all shared, with Modern Family coming to an end in 2020.
She told PEOPLE a year ago: "We really were like a real family...
"It was weird knowing it would just be over, and I wouldn't get to see everybody all the time anymore. It was like, 'Wait, yeah, wait, we're not going to be together on Monday?'"
And it should be no surprise she and Nolan have ended up as roommates.
She added: "I'm extremely close to Nolan. He plays my little brother, and he and I are still best friends."
Last week, Ariel confirmed she and Luke had split, after it was reported they had quietly separated in 2025 after six years together.
Under an Instagram post about the breakup, she commented: "He's still one of my best friends, a great human being and a great pup coparent, just because sometimes people aren't meant to be doesn't mean you don't still appreciate the time spent and retain the friendship you shared.
"Still a big luke fan over here!!! (sic)"
