SAN DIEGO — San Diego’s Mission Bayfest will celebrate its fifth anniversary this year with a music lineup headlined by the Offspring, Rebelution and Hawaiian reggae-pop favorite Kolohe Kai.

A total of 27 bands and solo acts, including Steel Pulse and Soja, will perform at the three-day outdoor music marathon at Mariner’s Point between Oct. 16 and 18. The 2025 edition of Mission Bayfest was headlined by Sublime and San Diego’s Slightly Stoopid, both of which will perform June 11 at Petco Park at the inaugural Field of Dreamz festival.

The 2025 edition of Mission Bayfest drew 33,000 people. The event was co-founded by three San Diegans: Dominic Coleman, the owner and operator of Single Fin Surf Grill and Sport Fishing; Joe Rinaldi, a managing partner at the Music Box concert venue; and DJ Mikey Beats, a partner at the Sleeping Giant Music talent agency.

The festival has grown considerably since 2022 when it debuted as San Diego Bayfest, a one-day event at downtown’s Waterfront Park. The event expanded to two days in 2023 and moved to the Mariner’s Point at Mission Bay, which has housed the festival each year since then.

Tickets for this year’s edition go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. Friday, March 20, at bayfestsd.com.

They are priced at $95 for single-day general admission and $235 for three-day general admission. Single-day VIP tickets are $325, while three-day VIP tickets are $825. A pre-sale will begin Thursday, also on the festival’s website.
