NEW YORK — After sources close to NBC indicated that “Today” host Savannah Guthrie is expected to return at some point, sources tell TMZ that it’s still unclear whether she actually will.

Insiders say Guthrie hasn’t decided if or when she’ll return to the morning show, and there’s currently no established timeline for a return. The source also says that NBC is avoiding putting any pressure on her to make a decision.

Sources at NBC say the show is “fully supportive” if she decides to come back and that it really just comes down to when she feels ready.

Guthrie has been away for nearly a month after her mother, Nancy, was kidnapped from her house in Arizona on Feb. 1.

On Friday, Guthrie pushed information for the FBI tip line, reposting a clip from a previous plea to anyone with information, telling them they can remain anonymous and will receive a $1 million cash reward.

“Please — be the one that brings her home,” the post read. “Tips can be anonymous, reward can be paid in cash, as explained here.”

In a post earlier this week, she said she realizes her mother “might already be gone.’”

Long-time “Today” co-anchor Hoda Kotb, who stepped away from the show early last year, has returned to step in for Guthrie in the interim.
