Cowboy Adan Banuelos arrested following Bella Hadid breakup

Bella Hadid’s ex-boyfriend, cowboy Adan Banuelos, has been arrested in Texas, less than a week after news broke that the couple had parted ways.
The champion equestrian, 37, was arrested for public intoxication early Saturday and booked into the Parker County Jail, according to online records. He was held only briefly until posting a surety bond of $386.
Banuelos was taken into custody just hours after he competed in the 4-Year-Old Open Derby at the Bosque Ranch Winter Bash in Weatherford, Texas. What led to his arrest is unclear.
The Daily News has reached out to the Parker County Sheriff’s Office for more information on the incident.
The ordeal comes on the heels of Entertainment Tonight reporting on Monday that Banuelos and the supermodel had broken up after more than two years together.
Hadid, 29 — who began dating Banuelos in the fall of 2023 — was said to be in the midst of “processing the breakup since it was a very serious relationship,” an insider told ET.
“Bella’s doing her best to stay positive and distract herself since their split,” the source said. “She’s been staying busy with work and spending time with close friends.”
In the June 2025 issue of British Vogue, Hadid, who herself is a horse-riding champ, shared that she’d “always wanted [a] cowboy” and met Banuelos at a local horse show while living with her stepdad in The Lone Star State.
Hadid said she found it “such a breath of fresh air” when he later revealed he’d never heard of her prior to their meeting.
At the time, the supermodel said that both she and Banuelos saw family in their future: “I can’t wait to be a mom. … I think that would make me truly happy.”
Banuelos has not publicly commented on his arrest. He shared several videos on Saturday afternoon from the Winter Bash competition, but did not acknowledge his run-in with the law.
