Andy Dick is ruling out the possibility of going to rehab after his public overdose on crack cocaine Tuesday in broad daylight in Los Angeles.

The comedian, 59, sat down with a couple of friends — who said “a lot” of people have been reaching out to express their love and concern for Dick — as he told TMZ from his home Wednesday: “I’m not going to be in rehab.”

“Can you believe I made it to 60?” said Dick, who has long struggled with substance abuse and will celebrate the milestone on Dec. 21. Downplaying the apparent overdose incident, he added, “I think I was taking a nap. … Is that how I have to get my holiday wishes, by pretending to die?”

“We’ve hung out a lot of times, and that was one of the most scariest times I’ve ever hung out with you,” one of Dick’s friends informed him. “I thought it might be one of the last times we ever hang out.”

Asked by TMZ whether he’ll seek professional help, Dick asked, “Do I need help? Do we all need help? Do you need help?” Though he said “it’ll be hard to escape” from his two pals, one of them said they’re calling on his many friends “to check up on him.”

The outlet asked whether Dick’s circle was looking to send him to rehab, where the friends have “brought him … so many times.”

Footage obtained by TMZ earlier this week shows Dick slumped over on steps in Hollywood as onlookers call paramedics and a friend yells for the comic to wake up.

He also told the outlet Wednesday that he doesn’t “mind doing a little crack every now and then.”
