The Easiest Way to Run Energy Out of Your Dog

Have you and your dog ever tried to play fetch only to find you wake up the next day with your arm feeling like it's going fall off? This is a technique I have used with my dog for years. And for whatever reason everyone that sees me do this says they never thought of it before. My dog is pretty hyper active and for some reason I have never been able to teach him the game of fetch.

He's always been good at getting it but not bring it back to me. Either way this will work for you. Instead of throwing the ball manually why not use a tennis racket? That's right you would be surprised how far you can hit a tennis ball with a racket vs throwing it with your arm.

If your dog loves to play the game fetch he will get some very good exercise and you will not feel like your arm is going fall off. One thing I do because my dog does not like to return the ball to me I bring two tennis balls. Hit one and then show him I have another one ready to go by bouncing it on the racket. Rest assured he brings the other one back every time drops it at my feet and goes for the next one. Try it this sure is an arm saver.

Another thing to consider is your dog may get very dehydrated from all the running so be sure to bring a bottle of water for them to drink. Have fun, and don't forget to bring some treats!
