For thousands of years, full moons have been honored with events and names, while the new moons go unheralded. Perhaps it's because new moons are invisible but, of course, no less present. If the new moon in Capricorn had a name, it might be called the Ledger Moon -- a moon that balances accounts, gathers lessons and authorizes the next cycle.
