NEW YORK — Sean “Diddy” Combs is headed back to solitary housing amid claims he is paying to recreate his lavish lifestyle while serving time at at FCI Fort Dix in New Jersey, according to a report.

An investigation was launched into the matter after NBC reported the Bad Boys Records founder had a staff made up of fellow inmates, each of them tasked with jobs like cooking, cleaning, making his bed, doing his laundry and even giving him Chinese-style massages. Combs will remain in the special housing unit pending its outcome, sources told TMZ, which is standard practice during an ongoing probe.

In a report published on Tuesday, four men — apparently in the same unit as Combs — told NBC the Grammy winner was enjoying a luxurious lifestyle despite his being behind bars. They said they’ve watched as inmates cook for Combs on makeshift heating elements, offering up dishes like curry chicken, pizza and empanadas. Some house his fan mail in their cells while others safeguard his contraband cell phone, which he reportedly uses to scroll Instagram and look at nude photos.

In exchange, they were paid with funds deposited from outside the prison into their commissary accounts, according to the report.

The “Act Bad” rapper also allegedly has a high-end liquor stash, apparently smuggled in by the guards, and access to antidepressant drugs.

“This is not some normal s–t you see in jail,” one man said. “This is some rich s–t.”

Combs’ spokesperson Juda Engelmayer has since pushed back on the report.

“The continued scrutiny of every mundane detail of Sean Combs’s life in prison has reached the point where the media characterizes ordinary prison life as news,” Engelmayer said. “The only real news is that Sean continues to serve his sentence within the rules and he patiently awaits the court’s decision on his appeal.”

Combs was previously placed in solitary confinement after brawling with another inmate back in July. When he rejoined the general prison population about three weeks later, he resumed his lavish prison lifestyle, per NBC.

Diddy was arrested at the Park Hyatt Hotel in Midtown back in September 2024, months after his ex-girlfriend, R&B singer Casandra “Cassie” Ventura filed a lawsuit against him, accusing the rapper of rape in addition to subjecting her to years of ongoing physical and mental abuse. It was settled the following day, but it sparked an outpouring of allegations from others and a subsequent federal sex trafficking trial in New York.

In July 2025, he was ordered to spend 50 months in prison after he was found guilty of two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution and not guilty on the more severe racketeering and sex trafficking charges he faced. His initial release date was set for June 4, 2028, but it has since been pushed up to January 2028.
