NEW YORK — Sean “Diddy” Combs does not want to oblige sexual assault accuser Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones request for information about Cuba Gooding Jr., who the latter music producer alleges assaulted him on Combs’ yacht.

Diddy, 56, currently serving 50 months behind bars at New Jersey’s Fort Dix Federal Prison on prostitution related charges, slammed Lil Rod’s request for documents and intel about Gooding, 58, as abusive and improper, according to a court filing obtained by TMZ.

The Harlem-born Bad Boy Records founder is not on board with the attempt to glean information about a third party like the Oscar winner.

Diddy in the filing also accused Lil Rod of failing to correctly submit medical records back in November.

Lil Rod, who is seeking $30 million damages, first accused Diddy of wrongdoing back with a lawsuit in February 2024, claiming he’d been sexually harassed, drugged, and threatened by Combs while working on his 2023 “The Love Album: Off the Grid.” Jones at the time also named one of Combs’ adult sons — Justin, now aged 31 — as a defendant, as well as Universal Music Group CEO Sir Lucian Grainge, and former Motown Records CEO Ethiopia Habtemariam.

He named Oscar winner Gooding as a co-defendant in March 2024, the same day Combs’ Los Angeles and Miami homes were raided by Homeland Security. Those raids turned up evidence pertinent to the federal sex trafficking and racketeering charges filed against Combs later in the year.

Gooding has not been charged with a crime related to the suit.

Combs, through his lawyer, at the time dismissed Jones’ allegations as “pure fiction” and Jones as “shamelessly looking for an undeserved payday.”

Jones’ lawsuit was amongst the first bombshell filings claiming sexual abuse by Combs, following the November 2023 lawsuit by Diddy’s ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura, who promptly settled with him after alleging sexual abuse and rape. There are now over 100 lawsuits accusing Combs of such misdeeds.

This week, a former child star also joined the ranks of Diddy accusers, alleging in a filing obtained by TMZ that he was a minor when he sexually abused by Combs. A rep for Combs has denied the claims as “false and ridiculous.”
