BALTIMORE — The Ravens have a new quarterback.

Baltimore is trading with the Arizona Cardinals for veteran Jacoby Brissett, according to multiple reports. Terms of the deal, which is expected to be completed this weekend, were not immediately available.

The move comes after Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson suffered an injury to his right thumb on his throwing hand that will require surgery, land him on injured reserve and potentially end his season. The Ravens also lost No. 2 quarterback Tyler “Snoop” Huntley to a season-ending turf toe injury that will also need surgery.

Brissett, 33, was recently demoted to the No. 3 quarterback in Arizona behind Gardner Minshew and rookie Carson Beck.

A third-round draft pick out of NC State by the New England Patriots in 2015, Brissett has played for six teams. In his career, he has appeared in 109 games (73 starts), completed 62.1% of his passes and thrown 86 touchdown passes and 39 interceptions.
