Do Just One Thing

Danny Seo on

When it comes to a lush lawn, consider clover seed rather than grass. It's a hardy plant that is disease-resistant and grows densely, which minimizes weeds. Clover is also tolerant of heavy foot traffic, and if you have dogs, it can handle their bathroom breaks without any discoloration. Clover renews and reseeds itself over time, and it also can be a no-mow option if you choose a smaller version called miniclover. It grows to a max height of 4 to 6 inches and stays lush and green all summer long with no need to ever really mow it.
