'MISSING'
Rated PG-13 for some strong violence, language, teen drinking, and thematic material.
What it’s about: A daughter searches for her missing mother in this techno thriller that takes place entirely on a computer screen.
The kid attractor factor: This deals with mature and dark themes — it's not appealing for kids, more for adults.
Good lessons/bad lessons: The answers are always available if you look for them ... and maybe change up those passwords, unless you want someone to find you.
Violence: Some perilous situations and violence, including threatening with a gun and stabbing.
Language: Some swearing.
Sex: References to dating and relationships but nothing specifically sexual.
Drugs: Teenage binge drinking.
Parents’ advisory: This is a film that deals with adult themes and perilous situations. Too scary for kids, but OK for teens.
