Cold-weather finery on display at Christian Dior fashion show in Paris

It is, I hear, unbearably hot in Paris these days, so let’s spare a little sympathy for the models who are out there parading in fall/winter finery at the fashion shows.
Nonetheless, I loved this detail from the Christian Dior Haute Couture Fall/Winter show at the Rodin Museum in Paris: the prettiest little handbag ever, its soft painted florals providing a lovely contrast with the garment’s dark, tweedy fabric.
Bring on the fall clothes; I’m ready!
