The 2026 Nissan Murano is here to prove the brand’s worth.

Our tester this week, the stacked and loaded 2026 Nissan Murano Platinum AWD, comes with a sub-$50K base price with several stylish and much-needed upgrades. In terms of the exterior, the sleek, modern upgraded front fascia and overall futuristic design stood out to us, in addition to the 21-inch wheels and black accents. The Aurora Blue Pearl paint was as beautiful on the outside as the inside was luxurious.

The Murano is powered by a 2.0L DOHC four-cylinder turbocharged engine producing 241 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque. Featuring plenty of power and a nine-speed automatic transmission, the Murano does a good overall job in the performance/powertrain department with a nice amount of pep and excellently apportioned safety features. On the interior, we found a gray interior with heated and cooled semi-aniline leather seats, a 12.3-inch dual screen display and Bose premium sound system.

As Nissan has excelled in recent years with their overall fleet, we hope its not too late for this model. The Murano is a great example of a time-tested vehicle with excellent dependability, style and comfort, all while serving its consumers nicely. In 2026, the Murano continues to do what Nissan does best: providing “energetic elegance,” as its marketing brochures claim. The Murano is not messing around.
