Auto review: 2023 Lexus LS500 is lusciously luxurious
Published in Automotive News
The 2023 Lexus LS500 AWD has arrived in Grasso's Garage, and what a ride it is! It's the kind of ride a VIP would expect while being being chauffeured. The rear seats are amazingly comfortable. They recline, offer massaging options, and feature even more legroom and engineering specifically designed for livery companies or busy executives who have their own driver.
Our LS500 tester had an Iridium Silver exterior and came with AWD, at a nice base price of under $80,000. Adding the Executive Package for $17,000 enhances your experience as mentioned above. The 23-speaker Mark Levinson Surround Sound system makes you feel like you're at a concert. The upscale 20-inch split 10-spoke alloy wheels are very appealing.
For someone who is full-framed and over 6 feet tall, the Lexus LS is the car of a lifetime. It satisfies every single need with increased space and great legroom. Being able to jump in the backseat to take a ride anywhere was never a concern as I only gained more comfort options. The LS500 has plenty of power with its 3.4-liter V-6 engine that replaced the V-8 standard option in previous generations. It still delivers great horsepower, confirming that moving through traffic in the high city flow and on open highways was never a concern getting up to speed. The 2023 LS500 AWD is a top contender in Grasso’s Garage for the comfort even though the price point is inflated.
