Here’s a different two-mover. This style of puzzle was dubbed “aristocrats” by composer O. Dehler because there are all 16 pieces on the board—no pawns.


This was a composition by J. J. Togstad, 1911 1.Re2 Nc6 1...Nb7 2.Ng4#; 1...Re3+ 2.Rg6#; 1...Rcc4 2.Rf5# 2.Nf7#
