This old favorite by Otto Wurzburg is a mate in two. You certainly can’t complain about not having enough material!


What’s remarkable about the solution is not only that there is a single first move that works, but that no matter what reply by Black, there is only one mating move for each reply. 1.Rd1 Kc3 [1...Ke5 2.d4#; 1...Kc5 2.Qg1#; 1...Ke3 2.Qg1#]2.f7#
