"Curb Your Enthusiasm" starts its 10th season Jan. 19 on HBO.

The season premiere will be longer than usual. The episode runs 10:30-11:07 p.m., HBO said.

Larry David returns as an exaggerated version of himself in the highly acclaimed sitcom.

UCF grad Cheryl Hines, who was an Emmy nominee for the show, will be back. So will Susie Essman, Jeff Garlin, Richard Lewis and JB Smoove.

In an interview last year, Smoove told me "Curb" was the best thing he had ever done.

Smoove also explained the difference between Larry on camera and Larry in person. "Larry turns it up a whole lot on the show. People tend to think that is the real Larry," Smoove said. "But Larry is a soft-hearted guy, a generous guy, a guy you can learn from."

David created the show, and its return is grand news for comedy fans.

David is also an executive producer with Garlin, Jeff Schaffer and Gavin Polone.
