Answer: It's a great idea to add some long-flowering annuals to perennial beds. There are many, many annuals to choose from. Summer-flowering annuals include zinnia, cosmos, coreopsis, geraniums, marigolds, and petunias. Snapdragons and pansies like the cool weather of spring and fall.
