Have Red Wings and Dylan Larkin kissed and made up? Team exec says yes
Published in Hockey
SEATTLE — Have the Red Wings and Dylan Larkin "kissed and made up?"
According to Jimmy Devellano, the Wings' alternate governor and long-time front office executive, maybe they have.
Appearing on the John Keating and Chris Osgood podcast, Devellano said the organization and Larkin have come to a middle ground after Larkin's trade request this summer, saying the two sides have "kissed and made up."
"As I've said to Dylan personally, let bygones be bygones," Devellano said. "You're a good player. We really would like you to stay."
Devellano said he agrees with interim general manager Shawn Horcoff, coach Todd McLellan and Wings' players that Larkin makes the Wings a better team, than without him.
