Aulumu’ s G09 Infinite Rotation Dual-Mag Stand takes MagSafe use to a new level. The 3-axis smartphone stand, touted as the first of its kind, delivers viewing from any angle with its 360-degree ball joint.

If you're not familiar with MagSafe (and so many people aren’t), then you need to be. MagSafe is a magnetic feature designed by Apple for iPhone 12s and newer. On the back of the phone is a ring of magnets, perfectly aligned to attach a MagSafe charger for 15 watts of wireless charging. In addition to charging, MagSafe accessories can be attached to work as stands, wallets, etc.

The G09 Infinite Rotation Dual-Mag Stand features 3-axis rotation for a full 360-degree range. Taking it on or off is magnetic. And have no fear, it won’ t fall off on its own with its dual-sided magnetic attachment design. In addition to compatible smartphones, the G09 will attach itself to walls, appliances, game controllers and magnetic plates.

When you first pick up the G09, you can see how well-built it is, with an aluminum alloy construction that's sturdy and strong. As a stand, the pocket-sized (0.27 by 2.6 by 2.4 inches) G09 has a slim profile and provides endless angles for hands-free use, displaying recipes on the countertop, mounted to the side of your laptop, or on exercise equipment. The G09 can be attached at an angle to everything I tried and has been company tested for a 25,000-cycle hinge.

Two interchangeable silicone rings are included, described to enhance comfort and portability. What really makes the rings stand out is that the white ring glows in the dark, which looks cool and can also make it easier to find. The other ring is black.

Magnetic plates are included to extend compatibility to non-MagSafe phones.

Keeping on the MagSafe theme, one accessory that's the first of its kind, at least that I’ ve seen, is MagSafe earbuds. Meet Komutr, the world's first MagSafe earbuds that turn your earbuds and smartphone into a single unit.

The newly launched true wireless earbuds are designed to deliver premium sound and a storage/charging case that won’ t be lost, and they delivered on both. Komutr’s thin (0.47-inch) snap-on MagSafe case is always accessible because it's attached to the back of your compatible smartphone. Non-MagSafe phones can use the included adhesive metal ring for the magnetic connection.

Now, if you lose your smartphone while the MagSafe earbuds are attached, that's another story, but there is a backup for that as well. If you're using an iPhone, it works with the Apple Find My app to locate its whereabouts. Double that with the Find My feature also built into the earbuds storage case.

Each earbud magnetically attaches to the inside of the case when you place it there for storage and/or charging. So not only is the case secured, but the earbuds are as well behind the case's door. Each earbud has a 42mAh battery that recharges in the case, which has an 600mAh battery, yielding about 7 hours of listening per charge.

You can also use the MagSafe charging case as a kickstand for hands-free use. While the charging case is attached to your phone, it will not work as a portable battery to recharge the smartphone, although that would be a great feature we can hopefully see in the future. The case delivers about 30 hours of playtime total for the earbuds and recharges them wirelessly or via USB-C. You can charge the Komutr case USB-C while it is attached to your smartphone.

The case and the earbuds are IP54 weather-rated for protection against splashes, light rain and dust. On-ear touch controls work well for play/pause, volume, answering calls and turning active noise cancellation on or off.

Each true wireless earbud features high-fidelity drivers for clear audio, which can be customized via the companion app. The app also allows for customization of the controls.
