Did you know the secondhand market for clothes has become a $16 billion industry? With so many resell sites making it easy to sell and cash in, it makes sense to take the extra time to find a new home for the unwanted items in your wardrobe. But a growing industry also means competition, so to maximize your earnings, start with good photos that show the front and back of the garment, along with close-up images of any tags or special attributes. Remove stains and odors, and if there are tears or any damages, be upfront about them. Finally, if you have something unworn, keep all the tags on. Never-worn items are usually the fastest and easiest to sell.
