Celebrity Travel: Go away with Susie Abromeit
A: I was 17 (and spent) a month in Italy to play in the Italian Open Juniors and several other tournaments leading up to it. When I was younger, I was a very competitive tennis player and traveled all over the world to compete.
Q: Where are your favorite weekend getaways?
A: I loved going away to Big Sur or Hawaii. And my weekend getaway used to be Utah when I was living in L.A., but now I live here and love it.
Q: If you've ever gone away for the holidays, which was the best trip?
A: I love being in Utah with my family for Christmas. That was usually my favorite. Or going to see my grandparents was also pretty great as a kid. Right after Christmas, I once went to Paris and Poland for a spur-of-the-moment trip.
Q: What are your favorite cities?
A: New York City, Prague, Bucharest, Paris, Tel Aviv, London and where I live now.
Q: Where would you like to go that you have never been to before?
A: Japan, China, New Zealand, Africa, South Africa, Iceland, Denmark, Amsterdam, Rome, Morocco and Antarctica.
Q: What would be your dream trip?
A: A safari in Africa and then off to Iceland to see the Northern Lights would be very dreamy. Then off to Japan and have the best sushi.
