Make breakfast less stressful and more nutritious

Make-Ahead Steel-Cut Oats

Makes 3 cups of steel-cut oatmeal

Serves 3 to 4

4 cups water

1 cup steel-cut oats

Salt

 

1. Bring water to a boil in a medium pot over high heat.

2. Stir in steel-cut oats and a pinch of salt.

3. Reduce heat to medium. Cook, stirring occasionally, for 20 minutes.

4. Cover, remove from heat, and let stand for a few minutes.
