The Kitchn: It's time to rethink taco night

For the tots:

1 teaspoon vegetable oil

1 1/2 pounds lean ground beef

1 small yellow onion, diced

1 (16-ounce) jar salsa

1 (15.5-ounce) can black or pinto beans, drained and rinsed

 

1 (1-ounce) packet lower-sodium taco seasoning mix

1 cup frozen corn kernels

1 (28- to 32-ounce) package frozen tater tots, divided
