The Kitchn: How to make the easiest no-bake chocolate cream pie

24 Oreo cookies (2 out of 3 rows of a 14.3-ounce package)

8 tablespoons (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted (save the butter wrapper)

Kosher salt

2 cups cold heavy cream

1/4 cup powdered sugar

1 (3.9-ounce) box Jell-O instant chocolate pudding mix

 

1 cup whole milk

Chocolate curls or shavings, for garnish

1. Grease a 9-inch deep dish pie plate with the reserved butter wrapper; set aside.

2. Place the Oreos in the bowl of a food processor fitted with the blade attachment and process until finely ground, about 30 seconds (you should have about 2 heaping cups Oreo crumbs).
