Stellantis NV on Friday said the chief executive for its Ram and Dodge brands, Tim Kuniskis, is retiring after 32 years with the company.

The automaker has tapped Christine Feuell as the new Ram CEO, which will come in addition to her current role as Chrysler brand leader.

Matt McAlear has been appointed Dodge CEO, after having led the brand's sales operations, Stellantis said. The announcement said he has "broad experience" in both the automotive industry as well as in medical and digital business areas.

The changes are effective June 1.

Kuniskis became the Dodge leader in early 2021, and his leadership was expanded to also encompass Ram about a year ago. He had previously served as head of Jeep in North America and a group of other brands including Dodge for North America. He joined the company in 1992 and worked his way up the ranks.

“I want to take the opportunity to warmly thank Tim for his passion, commitment and contributions to Stellantis and in defining the vision of the future electrified Ram and Dodge brands. I wish him well in his retirement,” Stellantis CEO Carlos Tavares said in a statement.

“I am confident that Chris will continue the work of Tim in leading the iconic Ram brand. Matt will bring a fresh perspective, while continuing to draw on the heritage of our iconic Dodge brand and leading the transition of the brand toward a sustainable future.”
