The God Squad: Bedtime prayers edited by mom and God
Then we slide off to the Land of Nod
just wee little me and the son of God.
And M from Wisconsin,
“I have an alternative prayer to the "If I should die before I wake" prayer that I have shared with many friends besides teaching it to our five children and nine grandchildren.
"Father in Heaven
Hear my prayer
Keep me in your loving care
And bless all those who love me, too
Amen"
My husband and I are retired dairy farmers (from Wisconsin). With farm prices we often said it would take a miracle if we could pay all the bills so we called our farm "Miracle Acres."
Good prayer, but I think it is missing a last line that rhymes with “too”. Maybe something like: “And bless all those who love me too, whahoo scooby dooby do.”) … OK, maybe it still needs some work. Catch you all in the morning. God bless. -- MG
