(UPI) A Mississippi couple who mailed a $400 winning lottery ticket to the Virginia Lottery decided to make the drive when a phone call revealed it was actually worth $200,000.

Kenny and Cathy Robin Beevers said Kenny, a truck driver, purchased a Powerball ticket at Frank's Trucking Center in Chesapeake, Va., while driving his route, and the couple later determined the ticket matched four of the five numbers as well as the Powerball number.

The couple, believing the ticket was worth a $400 prize, mailed it to Virginia Lottery headquarters in Richmond, expecting a check in return, but they soon received a call from officials who informed them the ticket was actually worth $200,000.

The news caused the Beevers to rethink their trust in the U.S. Postal Service and they drove to Virginia to collect their prize in person.

The couple said they plan to pay off their bills and make repairs to one of Kenny's trucks.

The winning numbers for the Aug. 23 drawing were 6-7-16-23-26, with a Powerball number 4.
