Neumann took out Anderssen this way: 1.Bxf7+ Rxf7 The alternative not played was 1...Kh8 2.Ng6+ Qxg6 3.Bxg6 h6 4.Qd7 Kg8 5.Re8 Ne5 6.Rxf8+ Kxf8 7.Qe8# 2.Re8+ Rf8 3.Qe6+ Kh8 4.Rxf8#
