Since it’s April Fool’s Day, we like to trot out an old favorite that has fooled many, many people over the years. I like to trot this out every couple of years because there are new generations of chess players who haven’t seen this. White to Play and Mate in 3 moves.


In the spirit of the day, you’ll have to email me for the answer if you can’t get it. My address is below. It’s easy to remember the set-up, so it’s fun to try on friends and others.
