In Munich, in the beginning of the 20th century, the master Rotlevi (known to some of you for his famous loss to Rubinstein) played 5 opponents in consultation, and they really ganged up on him. What was the best way to end this?and it was the way they found.

The best way was 1. Rd7+ Kc5 2. Rxd8 Rxd8 3. Rxg6 Kxc4 4. e7 Re8 5. Rxc6+ Kb3 6. Rxb6+ and all 5 resigned as no matter what the black king does, White moves his rook to e6 protecting the pawn while the white king moves up to snatch the rook.
