My apologies for posting the wrong diagram yesterday. You now have the correct one. My thanks to Jim and Mike for giving me an immediate heads up! From a beginner’s chess column in a 1920s British Chess Magazine

Solution:

It’s a draw if White knows how to stalemate himself: 1.h5 gxh5 2.gxh5 Kd8 3.Kf5 Ke7 4.Kg6 Ke6 5.Kxh6 Kf7 6.Kh7 f5 7.h6 f4 8.Kh8 f3 9.h7 1.g5 loses: 1.g5 hxg5+ 2.hxg5 f5
