Man fatally shot riding subway in Manhattan

NEW YORK — A man was fatally shot while riding a Manhattan subway train Sunday morning, police said.
The victim, believed to be in his 40s, was riding an uptown Q train station approaching the Canal Street station when he was shot in the chest about 11:45 a.m., police said.
Medics rushed him to Bellevue Hospital, where he died.
The shooter ran off and has not been caught.
