COL BKB: Oral Roberts 75, New Mexico 66

TULSA, Okla. (UPI) -- Kevin Ford's dunk with 2:23 to play Wednesday finished off a 10-point run that brought Oral Roberts a 75-66 upset win over No. 12 New Mexico.

The Lobos had won their first 12 games, only the second time in the school's 107-year basketball history that had happened. New Mexico's best start to a season came in 1973, when the Lobos opened with a 13-0 record.

Michael Craion led Oral Roberts with 18 points and 13 rebounds and the Golden Eagles held an 11-point lead at halftime.

New Mexico rallied to take a 58-57 lead only to have Oral Roberts run off 10 straight points.

Dominique Morrison added 17 points for Oral Roberts (7-6) and Kevin Holdman had 13, including a 3-pointer during the key surge.

The Lobos were led by Dairese Gary with 13.
