COL FB: Virginia Tech 38, N.C. State 10

BLACKSBURG, Va. (UPI) -- Ryan Williams scored four touchdowns and gained 120 yards Saturday, leading 16th-ranked Virginia Tech to a 38-10 ACC rout of N.C. State.

Williams reached his career-high scoring total on 32 carries in his eighth 100-yard game this season.

Tyrod Taylor passed for 197 yards with one touchdown.

Jarrett Boykin caught six passes for 164 yards with one touchdown, and Matt Waldron kicked a 26-yard, first-quarter field goal for the Hokies (8-3, 5-2), who have won three in a row.

NCSU's Russell Wilson completed 15-of-26 for 234 yards, with one touchdown and one interception.

Owen Spencer caught three passes for 74 yards, scoring on Wilson's 20-yard, second-quarter pass, while Toney Baker was held to 47 yards on 10 carries for the Wolfpack (4-7, 1-6), who have lost six of seven before next week's season finale against archrival North Carolina.
