Vick working for children's organization
Vick, who was released from prison in May, teaches youngsters health and fitness activities, the Newport News (Va.) Daily Press said Wednesday.
"It's been positive," Steven Kast, executive director of the clubs, told the News. "The kids seem to be very receptive of him and, by all accounts, he seems to be having a great time."
Vick, who was imprisoned on dog-fighting conspiracy charges, had been earning $10 an hour working for the W.M. Jordan construction firm in Newport News. He earns $9 an hour at the clubs.
The terms of his release to home-confinement in Hampton stipulate that he hold a paying job.
The clubs worked with the U.S. Federal Probation Office to provide the job. It ends July 20, the day Vick is released from home confinement.
