LAS VEGAS — Conor McGregor is returning to action in Las Vegas this summer.

UFC president Dana White announced McGregor will take on former featherweight champion Max Holloway in a rematch of their 2013 bout before either fighter had won a UFC belt.

The fight will headline a UFC 329 card on July 11 at T-Mobile Arena that also includes a lightweight bout between Paddy Pimblett and Benoit Saint Denis.

McGregor, 37, last fought in July 2021, but has regularly teased potential comebacks.

This time it’s for real. White went live on Instagram while he sat cageside at Saturday night’s UFC event in Las Vegas just as former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou was walking to the cage for his MMA return on a rival promotion’s card on Netflix.

While McGregor and Holloway are both former featherweight champions, the rematch of McGregor’s unanimous-decision win will take place at welterweight.
