BALTIMORE — Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson remains day-to-day after injuring his left ankle in Sunday’s win over the Tennessee Titans, coach Jesse Minter said Monday afternoon in Owings Mills, Md.

Jackson underwent an MRI on Monday, though Minter did not provide specifics on the results.

The two-time NFL Most Valuable Player departed M&T Bank Stadium wearing a walking boot and with a pronounced limp on Sunday. His status for this week’s game against the Falcons in Atlanta on “Sunday Night Football” remains uncertain.

“I don’t know the chances yet,” Minter said. “We’re still gathering a lot of information … just dealing with a little bit of an ankle, and we’ll see where that shakes out. … I really don’t think it’s going to be crazy long term.”

The only update from Jackson, who was not made available to reporters after the game, came in the form of a post on “X” that read “ouch” in response to a replay of the sack by Jermaine Johnson II that caused the injury.

Jackson is also hardly the only Ravens player dealing with an injury.

Cornerback Marlon Humphrey (calf), tight end Durham Smythe (Achilles) and right guard Andrew Vorhees (foot) all left the game with injuries. Those injuries will test what is already a depleted roster, particularly along the offensive line, where rookie starting right guard Vega Ioane has been pressed into the starting center role after Baltimore lost Danny Pinter, Jovaughn Gwyn and Ethan Pocic to significant injuries.

Should Jackson not be able to play Sunday, Tyler Huntley would get the start. The Ravens are 6-11 without Jackson at quarterback during his tenure.

Last season, Jackson missed four games because of hamstring and back injuries. Baltimore lost two of them with then-backup Cooper Rush before Huntley led the Ravens to a Week 7 win over the Chicago Bears in Baltimore and a Week 17 victory over the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field.

Before getting injured Sunday against the Titans, Jackson had gotten off to a relatively strong start this season. In 3 1/2 games this season, he has completed 70.8% of his passes for 967 yards and six touchdowns with just one interception. He also has 144 rushing yards and a score on 19 carries.
