NEW YORK — Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift’s wedding may have been held in a major sports and concert arena, but that’s what it took to achieve normalcy and make for a “magical” night, the groom said on his latest “New Heights” podcast episode with brother Jason Kelce.

The fifth season of the pro football star brothers’ joint podcast, premiering on the eve of the power couple’s two-month anniversary, opened with reminiscences about the eventful off-season the NFL stars had while on hiatus.

“I’m a married man,” Travis concurred with a quick flash of his wedding band after Jason introduced the subject with, “We do have probably the most interesting bit of the off-season that happened to both of us, but certainly to you, is that you’re finally married!”

Jason asked what he’d like to share of their July 3 star-studded nuptials, which Travis has already deemed the best night of his life.

“It’s been so much fun,” Travis said. “It was insane. It’s a night out we’ll never forget.”

Travis praised Madison Square Garden for its part in creating an evening of ordinary intimacy for a pair whose outsized presence on the world stage made for a fairytale love story that gripped the popular imagination.

“Thank you to everyone at MSG that allowed us to do this,” Travis said. “We wanted to do it somewhere where we could have a very intimate and genuine setting without a lot of distractions, and we needed it to be a private feel. And MSG went above and beyond to give us that, and I can’t thank everybody enough that showed up but also that helped put the show on. And it was a very magical, magical night.”

That, plus requiring everyone to ditch their smartphones for the evening meant guests could simply be themselves and relax knowing they were free from prying paparazzi eyes, bystander cameras and loose lips.

“It was so cool to see how everybody interacted, and with no phones comes people not having to be on guard and feel that whatever that feeling is for everyone,” Travis said. “It makes everyone be in the moment and be present.”

Kelce also shouted out officiant Adam Sandler for being the “best f—ing person on this planet” as he united the two in true “Sandman style.”

“From the vows to, you know, just seeing everyone, to how much fun we had throughout the entire evening and hearing that kind of be relayed through everybody’s stories of the night,” Travis said. “It was just so magical, man, and I wish it could have lasted even longer than it did. It felt like you just blinked an eye.”
