BALTIMORE — Ravens wide receiver Rashod Bateman is accused of family violence and was arrested in June in Georgia, according to online court records.

Bateman faces three charges from the alleged June 3 incident, including reckless conduct and first-degree criminal damage to property, according to court records. The battery-family violence charge is listed as a misdemeanor.

The details of Bateman’s arrest were not immediately clear.

“We are aware of the situation involving Rashod and have been in direct communication with him,” Ravens spokesperson Chad Steele said in a statement. “We notified the league office and have been cooperating throughout the process. As this is a pending legal matter, we will not have further comment.”

NFL spokesperson Brian McCarthy said, “The club has been in contact with the league regarding the matter, which is under review.”

Bateman, a 2021 first-round draft pick from the University of Minnesota, is entering his sixth season with Baltimore and has been participating in training camp practices this summer. The 26-year-old signed a three-year, $36.75 million contract extension last June.

TMZ first reported Bateman’s arrest.
