Pistons unable to overcome Leonard's career-night in loss to Clippers

Los Angeles — Kawhi Leonard has solidified his status as a Hall of Famer, having achieved nearly everything in his 14-year career.
On Sunday night, Leonard recorded the first 50-point performance of his career, finishing with 55 points, to go with 11 rebounds and five steals. As a result, the Detroit Pistons sustained a 112-99 loss to the Los Angeles Clippers inside Intuit Dome.
Leonard had his best performance during the third quarter, when he recorded 26 points. The Pistons fell to 2-2 on their current five-game trip and 24-8 overall.
Cade Cunningham led Detroit with 27 points, nine assists and five rebounds,while Jalen Duren recorded his 18th double-double fo the season with 18 points and 14 rebounds.
