BALTIMORE — The Orioles will play their final two home games of the season on the same day.

Baltimore’s game against the Toronto Blue Jays on Tuesday night was postponed because of heavy rain in the region, and the two teams will instead play a split doubleheader at Camden Yards on Wednesday.

The first game is scheduled to begin at 1:35 p.m. ET, and the second for 6:35 p.m. Separate tickets will be required to attend each game, with those for the originally scheduled Tuesday game eligible for Game 1. The Orioles also announced they will offer complimentary field-level tickets to a game early next season to those who purchased seats for Tuesday’s contest.

Gates will open at 12:30 p.m. for Game 1 and 5:30 p.m. for Game 2. There will be no early access to Eutaw Street ahead of Game 2 for watching batting practice.

With only five games left in the regular season, the Orioles (76-81) are in danger of being eliminated from playoff contention Wednesday. Chris Bassitt was originally scheduled to start Tuesday against the Blue Jays’ Max Scherzer, but the two teams didn’t immediately announce their updated pitching plans.

The Orioles won the first game of the series, 4-3, on Monday behind two home runs from first baseman Pete Alonso. That game was delayed 45 minutes because of inclement weather as well.
