SEATTLE — Randy Arozarena’s first swing of the game Saturday produced a rocket of a solo homer into The ‘Pen.

His last swing of the game turned T-Mobile Park into pure bedlam and ecstasy.

Arozarena smashed a slider from Cubs closer Jacob Webb over the wall in center field for a stunning two-run, walk-off homer and an improbable 5-4 victory.

An out away from dropping a game in their typical maddening fashion, the Mariners refused to make the 27th out.

Weston Wilson, who was inserted into the starting lineup just before the game after Brendan Donovan was hit in the head by a baseball in the batting cage, doubled to right-center.

Leo Rivas, the hero from Friday night’s win, drove him home with a single to right field.

It brought Arozarena — the Mariners' most consistent hitter this season — to the plate.

There was one goal in mind — winning the game.

On a perfect afternoon when baseball’s top pitching prospect Kade Anderson made his highly-anticipated debut and in a game manager Dan Wilson seemingly mismanaged the handling of the prized rookie, leaving him in too long to put the Mariners behind, they still found a way to win.

Anderson lasted 5 2/3 innings, allowing five hits and three earned runs while striking out five and walking two.
