After testing the Infinity X1 100L Sconce Power Failure Night Light, I’d almost say they are needed in every household. This all-in-one unit provides the necessary illumination for a plug-in, motion-activated night light and doubles as an emergency lighting system in the event of a power failure.

Fold-out AC prongs on the back let you plug into any standard AC outlet. The internal 1,500 mAh battery will be fully charged in about five hours. In a power failure, the Infinity X1 100L is rated to shine for up to eight hours at up to 100 lumens. Using a lower brightness setting will give you the longest runtime.

For nightlight use, it can be set to motion-activated and turn on when it detects movement up to 15 feet away. The other mode keeps it on from dusk to dawn.

It also offers three color temperature settings: 3000K, 4500K and 6000K. It shines from the tube-shaped light at the top, the bottom, and a long light in the middle. You can have all three on simultaneously, or just the top and bottom, or the front-facing light.

The rounded Infinity X1 100L measures just under 6 inches long by an inch and a half wide. A USB-C port right above the AC prongs can be used for charging input, with an LED indicator right below. It also works as an output emergency power bank, letting the 1,500 mAh battery charge smartphones and other USB devices.

With the night light plugged in, in the event of a power failure, it will blink to alert you that you're running on battery power. Just press a button to stop blinking.

Tribit recently launched new true wireless earbuds, the FlyBuds C3, and a new portable wireless speaker, the Sound Plus 2.

The true wireless Bluetooth 6.0 FlyBuds C3 have a lightweight design, coming in at just 0.14 ounces for each earbud, and are packed with endless features, along with a consumer-friendly price point of $34.99. Enticing features include hybrid ANC, an IP55 waterproof rating, and a six-microphone system for crystal-clear wireless calls.

Each earbud has a 10 mm driver, and the Tribit companion app lets you customize the sound to your preference. You can program your own EQ or use one of the 10 presets, which I prefer, along with the XBass boost for clear, loud, vibrant sound.

With Bluetooth 6.0, you can use multipoint connection to pair it with two devices. The battery is rated for 35 hours of use with the ANC off or 25 hours with it on. A 1.5-hour charge in the included storage case gives you up to 8 hours of playtime with ANC off, or 6 hours with it on.

The upgraded 30-watt Tribit XSound Plus 2 Portable Bluetooth Speaker now has Bluetooth 5.3 built into the handheld (7.81 by 2.62 by 2.76 inches) sound machine, giving you a 150-foot range. Inside are a pair of 15-watt, front-facing speakers that produce big, room-filling sound for such a small speaker, with the right amount of bass.

The top-side buttons are easy to access and control power, pairing, volume, mode and music selection. It also works with the Tribit app to customize the sound to your liking and includes XBass.

It recharges in about four hours (USB-C) and is IPX7 waterproof rated. The battery is rated for a full 24 hours of playtime with Powered by RunStretch technology and XBass turned off. This technology ensures a full day of battery life and sound.

The Tribit XSound Plus 2 Portable Bluetooth Speaker is also budget-friendly at $69.99. It weighs 1.31 pounds and has a 3.5mm auxiliary input for a direct connection. If you buy a pair, Party Mode lets them connect for stereo sound.
