Sound Advice: New model of compressed air duster is just right

"Just right" Wolfbox MF60 Compressed Air Duster: The Wolfbox MF50 and MF200 mini blowers were hands-down my favorite products of everything I tested in 2025. I started with the MF50 and was blown away (no pun intended) by the power and the versatility of the product. Listing for $39.99, the MF50 uses a powerful high-speed fan that makes it like having a tiny leaf blower in your hand. It can be used to clear leaves and dust your porch, fan the flames of a fire, dry sharp knives, remove water from plastic coming straight out of the dishwasher, and blow the insides of CPAP hoses dry after you clean them. The uses are practically endless and I use mine every day. Readers were as enthusiastic as I was, and the product has raked up great reviews everywhere.

Next I tested the more powerful MF200, which was significantly more expensive at almost $100 and much heavier as well. Given the MF200's size and weight I found myself reaching for the MF50 more often and though it is a great product, it feels a little bit like a toy despite the performance. The battery runs out quickly and drops dead without warning, and you have to charge it before using it again. Before I even learned about the new model I thought it would be nice to have a "Goldilocks" version that was just right, with the small size and light weight of the MF50 but with increased power and the more serious construction of the MF200.

The new Wolfbox MF60 is the "Goldilocks" blower that provides the best of both worlds with more blowing power, a more rugged industrial design and longer battery life than the MF50. With five nozzle attachments it is even more versatile, and I found another new use for it, blowing out the grates of waffle makers to remove dried crumbs and residue. (I am testing several waffle makers now and you will be reading about them soon.) Despite all the improvements it makes over the MF50, the MF60 is currently selling for under $30. With the code MF60BLOWER on Amazon you save $10 off the $39.99 price, making it only $29.99. If you haven't tried one of these devices yet, need a second unit or don't need the heavy-duty aspects of the MF200, it's a really well-spent $30. Many readers have sent me emails describing how they use their Wolfbox blowers, so if you try one please drop me a line and fill me in on any new applications you have found! I'm going to be compiling them on my website. Given how useful they are, I think one day these products will be ubiquitous and found in every home.

Q. Can I purchase an AIWA Exos bedroom CD player directly from AIWA?

-A.A., New York City

A. It appears that the official U.S. website for what is now AIWA is aiwa.co (not .com), though the website is somewhat sparse. I did a bit of homework for you to see if I could order, and you can definitely order from the website, but be sure to select the color above "Add To Cart" or you cannot add the product to the cart, even though there is only one color offered, black. I did some additional homework comparing pricing and it seems to sell for $159.99 everywhere, so if you want to buy direct from the manufacturer it's a pretty good way to go. If you need warranty service it may be easier to obtain because they will already have a record of the sale with the purchase date.
