If you were a fashion designer showing up at Buckingham Palace to accept your Order of the British Empire honor (well, maybe you are; I don’t know your life), what would you wear?
Roksanda Ilinčić, the Serbian-born designer whose work has been worn by the likes of Beyoncé, Cate Blanchett and Emily Blunt, opted for this charming business-on-top-party-on-the-bottom ensemble, with a navy blazer over an exuberant purple gown whose hemline looks very excited to be at the palace. As well it should.
