Are you taking advantage of all of your travel perks? A recent Instagram post from lifestyle and fashion blogger Everyday Pursuits reminded followers of one they may have missed. Delta passengers who link their SkyMiles and Airbnb accounts will earn miles toward a future trip. In the post, the blogger provided a video of how to sync your accounts and captioned the post with these directions:

The bonus is a result of the airline and Airbnb teaming up in 2016. They were promoting a campaign that encouraged travelers to “live like a local.”

“SkyMiles Members can expect more choices and more miles on their next journey when they book with Airbnb, whether an apartment for a night, a castle for a week, or a villa for a month,” said the companies in a joint press release in 2016. “Together, Airbnb and SkyMiles make the ‘Fly Global, Live Local’ experience more rewarding.” They also went on to break down the details of the perk:

— 1 mile per dollar* spent on qualifying stays

— Up to 1,000 bonus miles and a $25 Airbnb coupon code toward a qualifying first stay for new Airbnb guests

— Up to 25,000 bonus miles for new Airbnb hosts

The only detail members should be aware of is that this offer is only valid for bookings that Delta considers “qualifying stays.” The easiest way to ensure that your stay is eligible, is to book through Deltaairbnb.com.

To make sure you don’t miss out on any other travel perks, Detour recommends periodically checking airline websites, your credit card emails, or even calling travel representatives to make sure you’re staying in the loop.
